Information on the New
Lake Hudson Chartbook™
Second in the LAKE CHARTBOOK™ SERIES.
Charts for Grand Lake's "Sister Reservoir" to the South.

The Lake Hudson ChartbookTM is the first set of nautical-style charts for Lake Hudson.

These charts were commissioned by the Lake Hudson Association and the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) following the success of the Grand Chartbook. It uses the same detailed nautical-style charts as the Grand Chartbook, but has several "extras"...

The lake was surveyed in October-November of 2005, and the Chartbook was published in February 2006. It is the second in what we hope may eventually become a series of chartbooks under the brand name LAKE CHARTBOOK SERIES™.

The Lake Hudson Chartbook has two extra features:
(1) Free Chart of W.R. Hollway Reservoir ("Chimney Rock Lake")— The small protected reservoir near the end of Lake Hudson is the deepest lake in Oklahoma (200 feet or more in spots), and one of the best fishing lakes in the state. It is used as part of the electricity generation system by the GRDA. No gas-powered boats are allowed, but great for fishing boats with electric motors, canoes, etc. For the first time this lake was surveyed, and all its features were named for the Lake Hudson Chartbook project!

(2) Five ROADMAP Pages— It includes detailed maps of the roads surrounding the lake, based on the most recent info available. Tourist sites and real estate developments are marked. It also has street maps of the small towns around the lake... great for getting around the area!

As in the Grand Chartbook, the Lake Hudson Chartbook™ supplements each chart (or map) with an info page featuring aerial photography, listing of facilities in the area covered, ads, etc.

The Lake Hudson Chartbook™ is being marketed by the Lake Hudson Association. It can be found at convenience stores around the lake, or by contacting the LHA at: (918) 434-2700
